Last updated: 2026. This policy explains what DemandSonar collects, why, and your choices. We keep it short and plain.

What we collect

• Your email, when you run a free scan or subscribe.
• The ideas you submit for validation, and the reports we generate.
• Basic usage data (pages visited, scans run) through privacy-friendly analytics.
• Payment status, if you subscribe. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments. We do not see or store your card details.

How we use it

• To run your scans and show you your reports.
• To send you product emails and the weekly idea, which you can unsubscribe from anytime.
• To improve the product and prevent abuse.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of processors to run the service: a hosting provider, an analytics provider, an email provider, a payments provider (Dodo), and AI providers that process the text of your idea to generate the report. They only process data on our behalf.

Your idea text and AI

The text you submit is sent to AI providers to generate your report. Do not submit confidential information you are not comfortable processing this way. We do not publish your private reports.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under the GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA. To exercise any right, email us.

Cookies and analytics

We use minimal, privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not run advertising trackers.

Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after, then delete or anonymize it.
