Mobile and in-house calibration service for measuring instruments and tools at SME manufacturers, with managed calibration scheduling
Is the demand real?
Every ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 manufacturer must keep its measuring instruments (calipers, gauges, torque tools, pressure and temperature devices) calibrated and documented on a schedule, and most SMEs handle this as an annoying, easy-to-forget chore. A service that shows up, calibrates on site where possible, manages the schedule, and keeps audit-ready certificates solves a genuine recurring compliance pain. The recurring nature is attractive. The catch is that established accredited calibration labs already cover this, and formal accreditation (SCS) is a real barrier for the higher-value work.
Growing or fading?
Calibration demand tracks the installed base of regulated manufacturers, which is steady. Quality-system requirements are if anything tightening, but this is a mature, well-served market, so the opportunity is in service and scheduling, not unmet demand.
