Pest control route
Is the demand real?
Demand is excellent in a bug-heavy state like Florida and the recurring quarterly model is genuinely great margin. The catch is twofold: you need a state pesticide applicator license and category certification before you can legally treat anything, and the market is dominated by aggressive franchises and national brands with huge ad budgets. The recurring economics are attractive, but the moat protects incumbents, not newcomers.
Growing or fading?
Constant underlying demand in warm climates, but customer acquisition is brutally competitive and ad-driven. The category does not gap-open for a new solo operator.
