Private one-to-one personal training studio
Is the demand real?
Personal training demand exists and affluent Zurich clients pay well per session, but the market is saturated with trainers, big-box gyms with PT, boutique studios, and online coaching, and a private studio carries high fixed rent against a hard ceiling on billable trainer hours. There is almost no defensibility beyond the individual trainer's reputation, client acquisition is a constant grind, and the unit economics are capped because one trainer can only sell so many hours. The pain is not underserved and the supply is overwhelming.
Growing or fading?
Fitness and PT interest is steady but the category is brutally crowded, with online coaching and gym PT compressing what a standalone studio can charge and fill.
